Adults

Our adult ministries are numerous here at Ouachita Baptist Church.

We have a variety of classes. Adults can be sure to find a class they are comfortable in, as well as an environment of fellowship open to visitors, seekers, and those who have questions about the faith. We have classes on Sunday mornings at 9:45, evenings at 5:00 and on Wednesdays at 6:15pm. Our Wednesday and Sunday night classes include a variety of topics.

 

We are excited to launch a new young adult, young family ministry here at Ouachita called The Bridge! God is at work and with a new youth minister in place, Hugh Hodge and his wife, Stacy will be following God's lead as this ministry unfolds. Who is this for? ANYONE!! Anyone with a past. Anyone who struggles with or has struggled with addiciton, strongholds, or brokenness. Anyone who is looking for support, encouragement, love, truth, no condemnation, or a better way. We meet weekly on Tuesday's at 6:00pm in the house next to the fellowship hall. If you or someone you know would like to be involved in this group, contact us and let us know. We will be sure to reach out with more info as this ministry gets up and running. 

The senior adult ministry likewise is vibrant and strong. We have Young at Heart Ministry meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 11:00 am at the church. There is music, food and fellowship with a lot of hugging, laughing and lifting of spirits. Senior Adult Sunday School offers Bible Study groups for senior adults and prayer times to lift each other in prayer.
