Ministries

Ouachita is a church that offers foundational Bible training and activities for all ages.

Each ministry has a page beneath the Ministry tab with further information, but a summary follows here.

Children through fifth grade make up our children’s ministries.

Youth includes the Middle School students and the High School students, or sixth through twelth grades. Cory Gregory is our Youth Minister.

Adult ministries are numerous at Ouachita Baptist Church and we have classes available for all ages and walks of life. We encourage newcomers to take their time finding a place where they are comfortable, and encourage curiosity and questions from those who are seeking or who have questions they would like answered about our faith.

Prayer is an integral part of Ouachita Baptist Church, we strongly believe in the power of prayer.

Food and Fellowship are important ministries at Ouachita Baptist Church. Koinonia means fellowship which was so important in the Bible days as the Bible spoke of them often breaking bread together. Everyone is invited!

Music as worship calls for all the people to lift their voices to the Lord and praise His Holy Name. Waylon McCormiick leads our worship with the adult choir in the morning service on Sunday and practices on Sunday’s at 5:00pm. Our ladies work with our children to learn music that glorifies our Lord and helping them learn the art and importance of Christian Music.
